CleanCo's core job is to find unnecessary photos and videos in your gallery, and it needs photo access to do this. Without this permission, the Similar Photos, Duplicates, and Screenshots scans cannot run.
CleanCo analyzes your photos only on your device. No images are uploaded to our servers or leave your device. You can manage this permission anytime in Settings → CleanCo on your iPhone.
