The plan and price that apply to you are always shown clearly on the in-app purchase screen before you confirm — you'll see exactly what you're paying and when. There is no separate website checkout; everything is purchased inside the app through your Apple ID.
If the plan you choose includes a free trial, you won't be charged during the trial period as long as you cancel before it ends.
